This is a great two night break in Cornwall which has been the home of British surfing since the 1960s. With its world class Atlantic coastline and waves of all sizes year round striking sunsets and long sandy beaches Cornwall has fantastic beaches and surf for learning and progressing. With an average annual temperature of 14 degrees celsius you will experience some of the best surfing in Europe. A trip to Cornwall is ideal for surfers of all abilities including first- timers. It is perfect for those wishing to enjoy great waves and expert guiding in the hands of our expert team where you'll be guided to and from the best beaches and coached by a fully qualified British Surfing Association instructor who guarantees to have beginners up and riding by the end of their stay and progressors pushing the boundaries of their surfing capabilities. To top it off you will be staying in a gorgeous contempary barn conversion where you can relax after a hard day on the water and which is 5 minutes away from the local town which has great restaurants and character pubs. Trip Content : Your weekend will start by being greeted on Friday afternoon at either Newquay Airport or Penzance Railway or Bus stations and being transfered to your accommodation - a contemporary barn conversion in a secluded hamlet just 5 minutes walk from the picture- postcard village of Mousehole. There are a number of fabulous restaurants pubs and a quaint harbour - all within walking distance of the accommodation for you to explore on Friday evening. Your day will start on Saturday with a leisurely self- service breakfast where you can feast on muffins toast bagels and organic muesli with lashings of freshly squeezed juice and Fairtrade tea and coffee. At apx. 10am you will be picked up and taken to the beach by your dedicated surf instructor who will have already checked which beach has the best conditions. Onboard he or she will have your boards and suits [although guests are more than welcome to bring their own equipment should they wish]. At the beach safe storage will be provided for your property and you will receive two hours coaching before having a break so you can get lunch and chill out before having another two hours coaching. Travelling to and from the beaches takes you through the varied landscapes of Cornwall from the rugged rural beauty of Zennor to the dramatic cliff drops around Sennen and Lands End. Saturday evening is yours to chill out at the barn or again check out the local pubs and restaurants. Sunday will start the same way as Saturday with a great breakfast before hitting the beach for a great mornings surfing with expert tuition. After you have had lunch you will head back to the barn where you will have time to shower and pack before being transferred back to your transfer link at around 4pm. Gifts EX Element Paragliding 1 Day Intro Course 1 Day

Paragliding is about as close as you can possibly get to the ultimate dream of free flight. The One Day Introduction to Paragliding Course is a fun day where you will really get a feel as to what this great sport is all about. You will be introduced to the equipment and the principles of paragliding and will have a go at all sorts of things such as ground control launching and take off! This is a great day and if you decide to continue with your training to become a qualified paraglider this counts as the first day of your EPC course. You can soar with the birds!Course Content: You will start your day by either meeting your instructor at the centre or at an agreed location which will be selected depending on conditions. You will have a safety briefing and be introduced to the equipment which includes the glider harness and helmet. You will then work on how to handle the glider when it is on the ground and how to control it when it is in the air. The fun really starts when you start learning to land and take- off and you will depending on conditions finish the day with some low level flights. This course will teach you the basics of paragliding and as well as being a fun day will provide an excellent grounding if you choose to continue with the sport. This day counts as the first day of training towards the EPC (Elementary Pilots Course) qualification. In order to take this course you must already be qualified to Elementary Pilot Certificate (EPC) level and by the end of it you will have the confidence and skills to soar with the birds! Paragliding is about as close as you can possibly get to the ultimate dream of free flight! The Club Pilots Certificate (CPC) is the qualification recognised by the BHPA that upon successful completion allows you to fly without the guidance of an instructor!Course Content : Building on the skills learned during your EPC course you will perfect more defined turns and more elaborate flight plans which will enable you to soar for the first time.
